All employees have access to Zoom and can host meetings up to 300 participants by default. The Zoom Webinar license allow for 500+ participant increases, depending on the license. In addition, a Zoom Webinar is different than a standard meeting, as it allows the user to control the meeting, participants cannot see who is joined and they are only allowed to join a conversation, if allowed by the moderator. In addition it has polling features, question and answer boards, etc.
Broward College has a limited number of these special licenses, therefore, each request will be reviewed to determine if it is a valid request to receive a Webinar license. Please submit this request and we will determine if enough licenses are available to fulfill the request and if a Webinar license is really what you need.
- Webinar license must be used for department webinars impacting a pathway, recruiting, or revenue generation for the college.
- No webinar licenses will be assigned to an individual.
- Webinar licenses that are idle for over four months will be reclaimed and put back in the pool.
- A webinar request form must be completed for license consideration.
- After review of the webinar request, you will either be granted use to a webinar 500 license or denied.
- Webinar licenses are limited and no guarantee of availability at time or license request.
