Procedures for installing the Zoom Outlook Plugin and Desktop application.
Both applications are available in the BC App Store within programs on your PC.
Zoom Outlook Plugin
Enter zoom in the search bar.
Double click Zoom Outlook Plugin icon
Click Install
A message Downloading and installing software message will appear on the lower right corner of your screen.
It will only take a few minutes to install; once completed you will see a message Installation complete.
If Outlook is open, please close it and reopen; go to schedule a new meeting and the Zoom plugin will appear on the top tool bar.
To install the desktop application
Enter Zoom in the search bar.
Double click Zoom icon
Click Install
A message Downloading and installing software message will appear on the lower right corner of your screen.
It will only take a few minutes to install; once completed you will see a message Installation complete.
Zoom application will appear at the bottom of install application list on your PC. Click on Zoom.
Once the application appears select Sign In
Select Sign in with SSO
Enter broward-edu for Company Domain
Click Launch Zoom
Select Always allow Broward-edu.zoom.us to open links of this type in the associated app and then click Open Zoom Meetings
The Zoom application will appear
To ensure the Zoom application is current.
Select your initials / profile icon upper right-hand corner and then select Check for Updates
Zoom will install the latest update if needed or it will display a message You are up to date.
