This KB article will demonstrate how to use Zoom’s AI Companion and Meeting Summary functions.
How to Use AI Companion
The meeting host can start AI Companion by clicking the AI Companion button shown below:
The following window will appear next to the Zoom window:
Upon pressing the “Start” button, the following message appears at the top of the Zoom window:
At the top of their Zoom window, all attendees will receive an alert notifying them that AI Companion is running:
Users also confirm AI companion is running by looking at the upper left of the Zoom window. The symbol shown in the image below indicates AI Companion is active:
Once AI Companion is active, users can access its functions by pressing the AI Companion button shown below:
The AI Companion window will appear on the right of the Zoom window as shown below:
Attendees can select from the three questions shown in the AI Companion window or type their own questions about the meeting such as:
- Was my name mentioned?
- What topics were discussed?
How to Use Meeting Summary
The host can start the Summary function by pressing the button indicated below:
The host will see the following message at the top of the Zoom window:
Once the meeting has ended, Zoom will email the summary to the host. This can take between 10 to 60 minutes depending on the length of the meeting.
