1098-T Tax Documents

The 1098-T is a tuition statement furnished by eligible educational institutions in accordance with IRS regulations that reports payments received for qualified tuition and related expenses. It is used to determine a student’s eligibility for the American Opportunity Tax Credit and/or Lifetime Learning Credit. If you are a student and pay for your classes without Financial Aid help or scholarships, you will have a 1098-T document for your tax return.
