Dear VPN Users,
Effective December 19, 2018, the current VPN client will STOP working
and will be replaced by GlobalProtect VPN client (the Next-Generation Firewall).
In preparation for this change, download the new GlobalProtect application TODAY!
Below are the steps needed to complete this task.
(Note the process is different for BC devices and Non-BC devices)
1. Go to the BC App Store
2. Click the GlobalProtect app
3. Click Install
4. Once installed, you will see a pop-up at the bottom right.
If you do not see the pop-up,
Click the Globe icon bottom right: 
5. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner, then Settings
6. Click the Add button and enter “vpn.broward.edu” as the portal address.
Click Add again and enter “securevpn.broward.edu”
7. After adding both portals, close the GlobalProtect Settings window using the X at the top right corner.
8. When clicking the Globe, you will see both options for connecting
Once you have downloaded GlobalProtect, you will have uninterrupted VPN access.
Remember, GlobalProtect will be live December 19, 2018.
