Add Microsoft Teams Files to your Windows Explorer

If you want to have a “Mapped” folder on your desktop/laptop to your favorite Teams file share, use the following instructions to do this. You must have OneDrive Sync tool installed.

  1. Open the Files Tab in your Teams Site
     
  2. Select “Open in SharePoint”, this will open the files share in a web browser:
     
  3. Select “Sync” in your browser:

     
  4. Select “Sync Now”, if you don’t have the OneDrive for Business Client, install it now.

     
  5. If Prompted to “Open Microsoft OneDrive”, select “Open Microsoft OneDrive”


     
  6. This should trigger your local OneDrive Client to add your Teams File Share to sync. You should see the folder under a new section in File Explorer called “Broward College”
