Connect to your office workstation through VPN

What you need to have before starting:

• You need GlobalProtect VPN Client installed and configured, you can launch Remote Desktop Connection on your Windows machine. 
• You need to know your work desktop computer name.

If you have both items above please follow the below steps to connect:

For Windows XP, 7, 8 and older version of Windows

For Windows 10 scroll down

1. Right Click on Start Menu and select "Run"

2. Type in MSTSC

3. Click Run, Click OK

4. This should open up a Remote Desktop Connection. Enter your Full Computer Name, as sent by Information Technology:

5. This should connect you to your workstation. If you have issues, please verify you are connected to VPN and your computer name ends with .bc.edu

For Windows 10

1 Click on Search and type in Remote Desktop

3. Click on Remote Desktop Connection

4. This should open up Remote Desktop Connection. Enter your Full Computer Name, as sent by Information Technology:

5. This should connect you to your workstation. If you have issues, please verify you are connected to VPN and your computer name ends with .bc.edu
