The state of Florida has instituted a mandate to block certain applications and websites originating from some foreign countries including China and Russia.
The following applications meet the criteria in Florida statue 112.22(1)(f) and are prohibited on college-owned devices and networks:
- TikTok
- QQ
- WeChat
- Kaspersky
- VKontakte (VK)

To comply with the states mandate, Broward College has blocked the websites and applications listed above.

If you encounter any other websites that are blocked or restricted, please take a moment to open a helpdesk ticket by clicking the following link: Urgent Support Needed and selecting “Issues with Blocked Website”. The site will be reviewed by the Cybersecurity team to determine if it should be allowed.
