Problem: The SP350/NEC application will not connect, or displays an error “the number cannot be used”
Solution:
- Most important thing: ensure the machine is connected to the BC VPN FIRST
- Launch the SP350 app & if you get an error “this number is in use, do
you want to use it anyway”, choose “Yes”
- Ignore any other error message popups & go to the main menu list inside the SP350 app
- Click on “Function” at the bottom of the menu list to expand the full listing

- Click on “User Configurations” at the top of the list to open the configuration window

- Click on “Device” in this new window & on the rt side panel, make sure the following info
is present:
- “Specifies NIC/IP Address” should have a check mark in it
- In the “Network Interface” window, make sure “Intel(R)…” is chosen
- In the “IP Address” window, make sure it begins with: “10.123.0.-

- Click on "Apply" at the bottom of the user.
- .Click on “Apply” at the bottom of the User Configurations window & confirm the choice.
- Click on “OK” at the bottom of the User Configurations window & this will close it.
- Close the SP350 app & any remaining open error boxes (if applicable).
- Wait 30-seconds before re-launching the SP350 program
