How to send a D2L email.

COMPOSE AN EMAIL

The Quick Way (Roster Tool):

  1. Go to the course where the person you want to email is enrolled (e.g. Email Prof. Sparks in your MAT1033 course).
  2. On the Course Navbar, click Tools and select Roster from the list.
  3. On the All tab, select the check boxes beside the people you want to contact.
  4. Click the Email icon at the top of the roster list.
  5. Type your message.
  6. Optionally, to attach a file, in the Attachments area, click Browse to locate the file that you want to attach.
  7. Click Send.

Another Option (Email Tool):

  1. On the Course Navbar, click Communication and select Email from the list. Alternatively, on the minibar, click on your Message Alerts (envelope icon, and click Go to Email.
  2. Click Compose
  3. In the Compose New Message dialog, click the Address Book button.
  4. Select the check box for every user you want to send an email message, then click To, Cc, or Bcc to add the selected users to the desired field. E.g. check the box next to your instructor's name and click To, then check the box next to your name and click Cc.
  5. Click Add Recipients.
  6. Compose the message.
  7. Optionally, to attach a file, in the Attachments area, click Browse to locate the file that you want to attach.
  8. Click Send.
